DUPE ALERT!!

 

Hello Beauties! Welcome back!  I am here today with a dupe for you to entertain...it's a very unique color choice, but I love it!  I am mentioning NYX Matte lipstick in the shade Butter, which I feel is a dupe for MAC Divine Nite lipstick collection in the shade Exclusive Event.  Btw, some people think Butter is a dupe for MAC HoneyLove - YOU be the judge!!

Again, these are very unique shades and out of the ordinary, I feel, but I do love them both!  I didn't get my hands on the MAC lipstick, however keep checking in to see if it's in stock or not (NOT) and when I saw a video from MakeupByLeinaBaaaby featuring NYX, I HAD to locate this color!!  She showed swatches from the NYX Matte lipstick line and Butter was one of the shades...and I loved it!!  Btw, she's gorgeous so you should check her out!!

To describe the shade - it's a taupe brown, which looks darker in person than when you search it online.  In person it looks more like MAC Exclusive Event does looking at in online.  NYX Matte lipstick in Butter is, of course, a Matte finish - but I feel they're not drying like a usual MATTE.  I feel there is a bit of a sheen to them, which helps with dryness.  I, personally, do not mind a true matte lipstick, however if you don't truly care for them b/c of the dryness, the NYX Matte lipstick line would be a good option to try!  Color payoff is great and the price is great, as well!

TGIF FOTD!! Featuring TooFaced Cosmetics and L'Oreal

Welcome back Beauties!!  I'm excited to share today's details b/c I have been waiting to play with this TooFaced palette what seems like FOREVER now!!  The look I created today is something I like to call...a "Mossy" look.  How's that sound??

This palette offers deep earthy tones, most with shimmer or glitter and a few mattes, which I used the cream matte shade as a blending shade.  The colors I used to create today's look were Nightcap (a toasted khaki color with shimmer), After Hours (a glittery taupe color), Eclipse (an irridescent brown) and Night Fever (a forest green with gold specs).

This palette is definitely in the neutral family however, these are DEEP tones, and some I'd favor to jewel tones?  If there is ever such a thing??  Neutral jewel tones??  Any who, I LOVE the shimmer and glitter payoff, however some I know do not like that so much, so if that's YOU, you may want to take a look at the matte palette that TooFaced offers.  This palette I used today only offers 2 matte shades, the rest have an irridescent, shimmer or glitter finish to them.

Another little gem I used today was the L'Oreal Golden Emerald infallible eye shadow and this is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!  I found this at Ulta and I am SO glad I purchased this beauty!!  It also has gold glitter specs in it, which makes this another fall staple you MUST invest in!!

I usually like to pair my makeup with what I'm wearing - yes, I'm THAT dork!!  But today I didn't care b/c I have been wanting to use this TooFaced palette so I just came up with a lil sumthin-sumthin ;))

Another NEW Fall staple I now have and can't wait to come up with some more gorgeous eye looks!!

T-G-I-F FOTD featuring NYX Cosmetics and Rimmel

Hello again, my Beautiful Friends :))  I wanted to share today's FOTD, MOTD, LOTD details with you, and allowing a closer look into the specifics!

Today I used my NYX Butt Naked Palette, which I absolutely love!  The eyeshadows are very creamy, and pigmented and fantastic if you 're wanting to do a neutral eye.  Plus the price on this isn't too shaby either.  It does come with some lip glosses, and bronzer and blush; that was in a little "drawer" this palette has, but since I didn't use that portion, I didn't show you those items.  (sorry)

I will include the link for the palette for you who are interested however have not snagged this baby up yet!  It retails for $24.99, but you get good sized eyeshadows, plus bronzer, plus blush, hightlight, and on and on!!  Seriously, this baby is TOTALLY worth buying!!  I find myself gravitating to this when I want to wear an easy, neutral eye.

My lippie for the day is a new goodie I found at Walgreens in a new display Rimmel had out for their Moisture Renew line; this is one of 2 I picked up, and this sucker is the BOMB.COM!! This color is a pinky-red, which I love; and pigmented??  Well, HELLOO...and when I blotted to drink and eat it became a stain on my lips, and was matte.  It's a very unique formula; to me it's a very creamy matte.  And from my other Rimmel lippies, this tends to be the trend for them, no??  I'm not sure if this color is LE or if it will eventually make it's way to their permanent line, but if you're like me and you LOVE a good red lippie, then grab this baby UP!!
