DUPE ALERT!!

 

Hello Beauties! Welcome back!  I am here today with a dupe for you to entertain...it's a very unique color choice, but I love it!  I am mentioning NYX Matte lipstick in the shade Butter, which I feel is a dupe for MAC Divine Nite lipstick collection in the shade Exclusive Event.  Btw, some people think Butter is a dupe for MAC HoneyLove - YOU be the judge!!

Again, these are very unique shades and out of the ordinary, I feel, but I do love them both!  I didn't get my hands on the MAC lipstick, however keep checking in to see if it's in stock or not (NOT) and when I saw a video from MakeupByLeinaBaaaby featuring NYX, I HAD to locate this color!!  She showed swatches from the NYX Matte lipstick line and Butter was one of the shades...and I loved it!!  Btw, she's gorgeous so you should check her out!!

To describe the shade - it's a taupe brown, which looks darker in person than when you search it online.  In person it looks more like MAC Exclusive Event does looking at in online.  NYX Matte lipstick in Butter is, of course, a Matte finish - but I feel they're not drying like a usual MATTE.  I feel there is a bit of a sheen to them, which helps with dryness.  I, personally, do not mind a true matte lipstick, however if you don't truly care for them b/c of the dryness, the NYX Matte lipstick line would be a good option to try!  Color payoff is great and the price is great, as well!

TGIF FOTD!! Featuring TooFaced Cosmetics and L'Oreal

Welcome back Beauties!!  I'm excited to share today's details b/c I have been waiting to play with this TooFaced palette what seems like FOREVER now!!  The look I created today is something I like to call...a "Mossy" look.  How's that sound??

This palette offers deep earthy tones, most with shimmer or glitter and a few mattes, which I used the cream matte shade as a blending shade.  The colors I used to create today's look were Nightcap (a toasted khaki color with shimmer), After Hours (a glittery taupe color), Eclipse (an irridescent brown) and Night Fever (a forest green with gold specs).

This palette is definitely in the neutral family however, these are DEEP tones, and some I'd favor to jewel tones?  If there is ever such a thing??  Neutral jewel tones??  Any who, I LOVE the shimmer and glitter payoff, however some I know do not like that so much, so if that's YOU, you may want to take a look at the matte palette that TooFaced offers.  This palette I used today only offers 2 matte shades, the rest have an irridescent, shimmer or glitter finish to them.

Another little gem I used today was the L'Oreal Golden Emerald infallible eye shadow and this is G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S!!  I found this at Ulta and I am SO glad I purchased this beauty!!  It also has gold glitter specs in it, which makes this another fall staple you MUST invest in!!

I usually like to pair my makeup with what I'm wearing - yes, I'm THAT dork!!  But today I didn't care b/c I have been wanting to use this TooFaced palette so I just came up with a lil sumthin-sumthin ;))

Another NEW Fall staple I now have and can't wait to come up with some more gorgeous eye looks!!

T-G-I-F FOTD featuring NYX Cosmetics and Rimmel

Hello again, my Beautiful Friends :))  I wanted to share today's FOTD, MOTD, LOTD details with you, and allowing a closer look into the specifics!

Today I used my NYX Butt Naked Palette, which I absolutely love!  The eyeshadows are very creamy, and pigmented and fantastic if you 're wanting to do a neutral eye.  Plus the price on this isn't too shaby either.  It does come with some lip glosses, and bronzer and blush; that was in a little "drawer" this palette has, but since I didn't use that portion, I didn't show you those items.  (sorry)

I will include the link for the palette for you who are interested however have not snagged this baby up yet!  It retails for $24.99, but you get good sized eyeshadows, plus bronzer, plus blush, hightlight, and on and on!!  Seriously, this baby is TOTALLY worth buying!!  I find myself gravitating to this when I want to wear an easy, neutral eye.

My lippie for the day is a new goodie I found at Walgreens in a new display Rimmel had out for their Moisture Renew line; this is one of 2 I picked up, and this sucker is the BOMB.COM!! This color is a pinky-red, which I love; and pigmented??  Well, HELLOO...and when I blotted to drink and eat it became a stain on my lips, and was matte.  It's a very unique formula; to me it's a very creamy matte.  And from my other Rimmel lippies, this tends to be the trend for them, no??  I'm not sure if this color is LE or if it will eventually make it's way to their permanent line, but if you're like me and you LOVE a good red lippie, then grab this baby UP!!

Happy Tuesday FOTD

 

 

Hello Beauties!  Happy Tuesday to you - I thought I'd post a little beauty talk today, sharing with you some of my FAVORITES :))

 

I broke out this quad from Maybelline (Purple Icon) that I purchased after watching Liz (iheartmakeup92); she mentioned this eyeshadow in one of her drugstore videos and I absolutely LOVE it!  I also used my L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadow in Liquid Diamond, which I used on my lid.  I don't know about y'all but these L'Oreal shadows are BOMB.COM!!  They shimmer and shine like nothing else, and if you don't have any - you NEED to go get you some!! 

 

I topped off my eyes by using my latest mascara picks for my mascara routine - one of my very close girlfriends introduced me to this Rimmel mascara after we were out celebrating her fiance's birthday and her eyelashes were like HELLOOOO!!  Since that night, I have been scouring this town looking for this mascara, with no luck.  I wound up stopping by CVS b/c I left the house one morning, in a hustle (as all my mornings tend to be), and realized I forgot to apply my mascara!  The mascara Gods were looking upon me that morning and saw my desperation, low and behold, I found this mascara, and dare I tell you - this has become my Holy Grail mascara!!  It is THE best thing I have come across - the only complaint I have, and it's barely worth mentioning, is that the formula is very "wet" so you have to be a little more careful applying, otherwise, it makes your lashes look phenomenal :)) You will thank me later ;)) LOL

 

One the lips I applied my Milani Nude Crème lipstick and NYX Cosmetics Tiramisu buttergloss overtop.  Both smell fantastic, and both have extreme color payoff so they could be worn alone and look great!

LIP OTD

Hey Lovess!  I wanted to share the look I went with for my lips today.  I used NYX Matte l/s in Pale Pink and then Bonne Bell liplites in Strawberry Parfait over it.  I've had the BB liplites for a lil bit now (love it!!) however purchased the NYX l/s not too long ago from Ulta.  I LOVE matte lipsticks and I don't have to have a gloss over it all but felt it would add an extra touch of *PRETTY* by using the BB l/g.  Have any of you used either of these products?

Heyy Lovies! I hope you guys are ALL doing well. I thought I would take the time to share with you the look I went with today as I was feeling my PINK today :)) Pink is DEFF my FAVY color evaa!!

 

 

Here's the look :)) The pink on the eyes is, what I like to call, an "iced pink"





For my eyes I used my WnW Vanity palette; I used the top L shade to highlight and the medium brown middle L in my crease.  I LOVE this palette and tend to "visit" this one frequently.  The color I used on my lid was the pretty baby-pink from the "hearts" palette.  It has shimmer in it, however I wanted FULL-ON shimmer, so I added Revlon Diamon Lust e/s on top of the pink and BAM!!  There was pink glitter and glitz!  It is deff one of my "go-to" palettes.  For bronzer I used this Physicians Formula bronzer/blush duo.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE all these "Happy Booster" powders b/c anything with hearts I am a sucker for and the smell of them all are such a pleasant smell to me.  I didn't use the blush side of this powder today - strictly bronzer.  My blush I used Hard Candy's Fox-in-a-box in Sweet and Spicy.  This is such a CA-UUTE blush!!  I love it :)) 




I used for the inner corner of my eyes L'Oreal Infallible in Iced Latte (thanks to a helpful tip from my friend Jenn ;)) I also use 2 mascaras b/c I find using 2, for me, helps make my lashes BIG!  I LOVE Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes!!  The little brush gets all your lashes, and then of course, there's Maybelline Falsies mascara.  The eyeshadow palette that I have I purchased from PacSun and I am not familiar with the brand.  I just absolutely ADORED the heart shaped pots it had!!  I love anything with hearts so I snatched this palette right up!  The shadows are all pretty pigmented, believe it or not.  I was surprised...BUT they are all shimmery shadows.  I am not picky on shimmery, not shimmery but I thought the colors were gorgeous!
