Makeup Mondays!!

 

Welcome back Beauties!!  I L-O-V-E Makeup Mondays!!  And today I'm sharing with you some of my favorite eyeshadows...if you, like me, like glitter, then these babies are a MUST HAVE!

 

These eyeshadows are classified as "Glitter Eye Top Coat" and that just makes them sound even more beautiful, right?!?  These are the Ulta Glitter Eye Top Coat Glitter Eye Shadows...WHEWWW!!!  A mouthful, I know, but they are totes worth it!!

Price point is $8.00 a piece OR 2 for $8.00 - there are 8 different shades to choose from and I believe I have all but one...maybe?  Haha ;)) The shadow shades shown above are:  Deep End (teal shade), Bronze Bombshell (bronze shade), Fairy Princess (light beige shade).

 

My opinions on this product:  These are extremely pigmented shadows, that are best applied using your finger.  I will pat these shadows on my lid to give it glittery gorgeousness!!  There IS fallout, however I do not mind with glitter :))

 

I absolutely LOVE these shadows and I feel they are a MUST in your makeup collection - especially if you are a glitter lover, like myself!  They are affordable and extremely gorgeous.  I cannot say enough good things about them!!

Beauty Tip Thursday!

Welcome back Beauties!!

 

Today's post is all about sharing Beauty tips.  One in particular is talking about cream products - whether it is a cream eyeshadow, cream foundation, cream bronzer, etc...

 

Using a cream product as a BASE will help set any powder you may place on top OR they are great to use if you have dry skin, as I do.

 

I use them as a base and will place a powder on top, which also helps create an intense color payoff. 

 

ANOTHER great idea for a contour is to use a deep, dark foundation and blend, blend, BLEND!!  A great product to try for this little trick is pictured below (Maybelline Fit Me stick foundation), AND it can be found in your local drug store ;))

**NEW** Maybelline Baby Lips LIMITED EDITION Pinked!!! (PHOTO HEAVY)

Welcome back, Beauties!!  You'll have to excuse my excitement for this post in advance ;)) with that said, herrre we go!!!  And, THANK YOU to Maybelline for these adorable babies!?!

 

OhMyGosh!?! RUN, SPRINT, do whatever you have to to get yourself to your nearest Bed Bath and Beyond to grab these for yourself!!  That is where I found mine, and just so you know there are 5 in this collection and yes, they ARE limited edition and I'm beyond sure that they'll sell out fast!!

Below I will feature pics showing the product in their original packaging...

The price point on these were $3.40 each and if you can find them BOGO, which they were not at BB&B, then that's a SCORE for you!! ;))

 

Now I will include pics featuring the product with swatches of each color...

Shade: 110 - Pop of Pink (a bubblegum-pink)

Shade: 120 - Rose Rush (an orange-pink)

Shade:  115 - Mad for Magenta (a LIGHT bright pink)

 

Shade: 105 - Blush Burst (a light baby-pink)

Shade: 125 - Very Berry (a purple-pink)

The smell of these are amazing - they have a fun, fruity scent to them, which are similar to the original Baby Lips, however this set all have a pink-tone to them.  Of course, being that PINK is my favorite color, I was all over these. 

 

They are also very moisturizing, which is definitely a plus for me, since I have to have a balm on my lips at all times, this is a 2-fer - a 2 for 1 kind of deal - I get the moisturizer of a balm and the color of a lipstick/gloss!  WIN/WIN!!

Hairspray Perfection! Raves and Reviews on Aussie & NEW L'Oreal sprays and hairspray.

Welcome back Beauties!  I wanted to share with you my NEW hairspray combo I am loving and hope and pray, *fingers crossed*, this stuff is never discontinued!!

First item being mentioned is my one-and-only go-to Aussie Instant Freeze Hairspray.  This is an EXTREME HOLD spray with the caption on the bottle reading:  "Freezes your style in its tracks".  #TRUTH Ha-ha, I am a short-haired gal, and if I'm going to be using hairspray on the 'do, I want something that will basically paste my hair in place.  I don't want it moving around, blowing in the breeze...nuh-uhh - none of dat.  Maybe if I had longer hair, my taste in hairspray might be different.

 

The hairspray promises the following:  "This is a strong, quick hold that'll give you the chills.  Instant Freeze Hairspray Extreme Hold sets up your look fast and fixes it in place.  Brrrace yourself."  OK - a tad dramatic ;)) but YES it does set FAST and is an EXTREME HOLD!!  So, the crunchiness is a definite with this hairspray so if you don't like that, then this isn't for you.  But if you're a gal like me that wants that MASSIVELY STRONG hold, give this a try!  Plus the smell is divine too ;))

 

Next and NEWEST RAVED item is my L'Oreal BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray.  This is a STRONG HOLD Back Combing Finisher spray with the caption on the bottle reading:  "Instant Lift + Fullness".  Again, #TRUTH!!  I love my hair to be B-I-G and this is, dare I say, EVEN BETTER than my tried and true Schwarzkopf got2b POWDER'ful Volumizing Styling Powder.  Love that stuff, no doubt, but this L'Oreal spray is bomb.com.

 

The spray promises the following:  "Our high-performance finishing tool now at your fingertips.  Get targeted root application with out unique fan spray for instant lift and fullness and a modern back combing effect.  Strong hold boosts body on any style for a voluptuous, textured look that lasts."  FURTHER - "Advanced Formula; Fibralock Tech - boosts style endurance; a workable, holding matric that locks style strand by strand; instant lift + fullness; strong hold; back combing finisher; heat protection."  PHEW!!  After all that is said and done, and fancy wording aside, this stuff is the best thing created next to sliced bread.  It does the job, INSTANTLY and I will continue to rave and rave about this spray!!  Again, smells good too!

 

Now, if you're a helmet head lover like myself (HA!! I joke) but seriously if you love good volume, try the L'Oreal spray and if you love a good, strong hold from a hairspray then give this Aussie hairspray a go!!  Both can be found any drugstore, Wal-Mart, Target, Ulta, grocery store even...
